Terms of use
Threadsdl provides tools for checking available download formats for public Threads, IG and YT media links. Use the service only for content you own or have permission to download. You are responsible for your use of a saved file and for observing the terms that apply to its source.
Do not use the tools to bypass private account access, authentication, paid access, or other restrictions. Do not submit passwords, account credentials, or private access tokens. Automated abuse, attempts to disrupt the service, and requests intended to access systems or files without authorization are not permitted.
Public availability alone does not establish permission to copy, edit, publish, or distribute media. Obtain any permission needed for your intended use before downloading or sharing a file.
Privacy information
When you request media information, the link you enter is sent to Threadsdl’s server and then to a third-party media processing service. Download requests also include the selected quality or format. This processing is needed to check media availability and request a file.
The Home page carries your pasted link to the selected tool in the page address so that you can review it there. Download links also contain the original media address and selected format. These addresses may appear in browser history and in infrastructure request logs. Avoid submitting links containing private or sensitive information.
The Paste button requests access to clipboard text when you press it. Browser permission rules apply. If clipboard access is unavailable, you can paste a link directly into the input field. You do not need to create a Threadsdl account to use the current tools.
Hosting infrastructure and the media processing service may receive technical information associated with a request, such as a network address, requested URL, and time of access. Their handling and retention of that information depend on their own policies and configurations. This page does not promise a specific retention period or that no technical logs exist.
The current downloader interface does not add advertising cookies or analytics scripts. Your browser and the hosting platform may use storage or cookies for their own operation or access controls. Opening an external source or another website places you under that destination’s privacy practices.
Copyright & permissions
Media belongs to its respective rights holders. Threadsdl does not grant ownership, a license, or permission to reuse content obtained through the tools. Keeping the creator’s source link is useful for reference, but attribution alone is not a substitute for permission.
For a copyright concern involving this service, contact the site operator at the address below. Include enough detail to identify the issue:
- The original source URL and a description of the work.
- The Threadsdl page or request involved in your concern.
- Your relationship to the rights holder and a way to reply.
Do not send account passwords, identity documents, or other unnecessary sensitive information. Threadsdl cannot remove the original post from a third-party source; source removal requests should also be directed to that source or its publisher.
Service disclaimer
Threadsdl is an independent tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Threads, IG or YT. Platform references identify the sources the tools are intended to work with.
Media access, supported formats, quality choices, and successful downloads depend on source availability and third-party processing. Links may stop working, and the service can experience interruptions. There is no guarantee that every public link can be processed or that a particular format will be available.
Review downloaded content before relying on it. A media file may omit its original caption, comments, corrections, or other context. Keep your own original recordings and important files backed up separately.
